Cookie choices should be clear. Essential storage keeps consent and basic session behaviour stable; optional analytics are only useful when a visitor accepts them.

What this site stores

The table above lists everything this website places on your device, and the list is short by design: a single consent record. It is written to local storage rather than sent as a cookie header, it contains only your own choice, and it carries no identifier that could recognise you on another site. No advertising, tracking or profiling storage is set. If you accept optional analytics, that choice is recorded in the same entry and nothing further is written until the analytics component is actually loaded.

Why we ask before storing anything

Storage that is strictly necessary to deliver a service you requested may be used without consent; everything else requires your agreement in advance. That is why the banner appears before any optional component loads, why the analytics checkbox starts unticked, and why closing the banner without choosing does not count as agreement. Consent given this way is specific, informed and freely given, and refusing it costs you nothing: every page, document and function on this site works identically whether you accept or decline.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

You may change your mind at any time, and withdrawal is as easy as consent was. The settings button on this page reopens the banner with your current choice shown, and unticking analytics stops any further optional storage immediately. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain removes the consent record entirely, after which the banner reappears on your next visit as it did the first time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of anything processed while your consent was active.

Browser-level control

Independently of this banner, every current browser lets you block or delete cookies and local storage, either for all sites or for this one alone; the relevant setting sits under privacy or site data, and the browser's own help pages describe the exact path. Blocking storage entirely will stop this site from remembering your consent choice, so the banner will appear on every visit. No other function is affected, because nothing on this site depends on stored data to display its content.
